Ronnie Harris
Running Backs Coach Harris has been coaching football for 31 years at the high school and middle school levels. He also has 31 years teaching experience in the fields of social studies and history. He has a master degree from Piedmont College and an undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia where he played football for the Bulldogs earning varsity letters for the 1981-1983 seasons. He intercepted Hall of Fame quarterbacks Jim Kelly, Steve Young and intercepted Dan Marino twice in the 1981 Sugar Bowl. After UGA, Coach Harris played professionally in the USFL for the Arizona Wranglers and Chicago Blitz. Prior to joining Apalachee, Coach Harris was the head football coach at Oglethorpe County High. He and Angela have been married for 7 years and together they have four children. |
